What insurance is required?
The motorcycles are insured, but you are fully responsible. Each client must carry valid personal insurance covering high-risk adventure activities, including off-road motorcycling. Proof of identity and insurance is required before the tour so you can receive immediate medical attention in case of an accident.
Can I wash my gear?
Yes, at your residence or through laundry services in town. We can also offer the service.
Are there problems doing this sport in the Dominican Republic?
Security and culture are very tolerant of mechanical sports. All-terrain riding, including 4x4, ATV and motorcycles, is very common. In over 5 years of practice we have never had a negative experience with local people or police.
What is your environmental policy?
We respect the environment, the inhabited areas, the children, the animals, the dust and the farmers who work hard in the heat. We leave the passage as we found it and close every gate behind us.
What about hurricanes and weather?
Hurricane season usually runs from early June to late November. We adapt routes daily to conditions. Contact us if you have more questions.
Cancellation and refund policy
30 or more days before arrival
Refund minus the accommodation reservation fee and a $100 charge. The $100 can be applied toward a new booking within 90 days.
12 to 30 days before arrival
Refund minus the accommodation reservation fee and a $250 charge. The $250 can be applied toward a new booking within 60 days.
Less than 12 days before arrival
No refund. The amount paid, minus the accommodation fee and a $350 charge, can be applied toward a new booking within 30 days.
Schedule changes
Ask as soon as possible. If a change is not possible, the standard cancellation policy applies based on the date of the request. We are not responsible for refund transfer fees charged by banks or payment services.
Special circumstances
We may consider a full refund for extreme weather events (not regular rain) or decisions made by Caribbean Enduro.
Injury on multi-day rides
If you are injured before completing a multi-day ride, no refund is issued except for unused full days. Unused moto days can be applied toward a 50% discount on your next visit.
Terms and conditions
By paying a reservation deposit or using our services, vehicles and equipment you agree to all terms and conditions, whether or not a document is signed. A waiver is sent by email before your adventure.
